Normal installation method: (taking EA888 water pump as an example)
1. The standard installation torque of EA888 second-generation and third-generation water pump assemblies is 9Nm. Do not tighten too much. Adjust the torque wrench to the corresponding value. When it reaches 9Nm, it will make a sound, indicating that the torque has reached the standard. Once the torque is too large, the water pump housing will rupture, causing the water pump to leak.
2. Tighten the screws in sequence according to the serial number during installation.
